These are my final sketches for the group comic book project.

As a group, we decided to switch up the traditional storyline ever so slightly and portray it as if Guy Fawkes was dreaming about the event, and was actually successful, compared to the original event where he wasn't.

Our decision was to go for a monochromatic, grungy type style of comic, very sketchy and high contrast. We didn't want to add much colour except from where the explosion happens, to add emphasis on the event. 

I was subsequently given this section of the comic along with the line "gunpowder, treason and plot" from the rhyme.

After meeting as a group earlier in the day, we discussed and shared ideas on storylines, different adaptations, styles and text etc. This page illustrates some of what we came up with, including some random sketches of my own too.

These are some initial plans that I've come up with prior to discussing with the rest of the group, including a few sketches. The second image shows how I envision the layout of the comic book, allocating each person a page too.
