Moving on to portraits I've experimented with various methods of life drawing, even including no-look ones. Taking notes from the lecture, I've also drawn a diagram of how the human face should be split into equal proportions. These sketches demonstrate varying lengths of time for each drawing.

Here I've started to experiment with shading, illustrating the rules of perspective when using them in the real world including how spheres and cylinders should look as well as ellipses from angles along a horizon line. Then I've progressed into more detailed and graphic imagery, using google maps to assist with the imagery.
Here are some notes I made during the lecture, from which I've developed my own understanding of the different types of perspective, much of which has involved a steep learning curve, evident here in my experimentation where you can see some things clearly just haven't worked properly the first time.
