The original recipe missed out various steps which I encountered during my baking process so using the images I took while making my flapjack, I have created a step-by-step of what I did.

These are the images I took during the process of making my flapjack, which I plan to illustrate from at a later stage.

The initial task at the start of this project was to make a cake of our choice from the recipes provided. I chose to make a flapjack because I'm quite inexperienced in the kitchen and they're relatively easy to make. It was certainly a challenge but quite refreshing to work on something different too.

The end result looked really appetizing but after leaving them to set for some time, they became too hard to eat and tasted almost burnt which I believe was due to possibly burning the butter in the pan along with the sugar before it had all melted. But thankfully in this case, the actual product isn't the main focus but rather the design of the recipe behind it.
